Beautiful Nubian customs and traditions

School closures these days are an opportunity and a good opportunity for basic students to inaugurate the shayooq, which children usually wait for from year to year.

I still remember my childhood and the shayooq season.

We were so happy when the strong winds blow from the east and caress the chest of palms, and we called it (Matonga), which is the monsoon wind The south-east and then the great joy (palm wedding), i.e.

the harvest of dates and the most beautiful of the atomic season, and what attracted me the most was the movement of the lives of the villagers inside the palm of the palm from the early hours of dawn until sunset,

and they ate their meals under the palm trees with the tone of the zbeiteh when it hit it On the ground, its events are a thunder and a strange sound, during which the delicious fruit is scattered,

and I will not forget the sound of the street vendors raising their food (biscuits... the sweets... the falafel... the gouache... the rings... the accessories... the tahini dumplings... the cheese... the dukan ... the balloon ... the plastic pistols.)

All these things were available daily until the end of the date harvest season, and other things.

The view of people conversing and talking about things that have passed and things to come, and about the value of a sack of dates last year, and their speculation about the value of the current year.

Hurt and the donkeys and their braying that breaks the silence of the place and on their backs empty mobile phones

and children and the noise and cold water coming from the nearby mosques all day long

and the crying of infants and the shriek of mothers in a beautiful voice and the calls for pills and the cuddling of women in order to get the largest amount of (Harouk) which is (Arq Al-Zabita) and she was making Including the skimmer, and we children used it to make the Barbagi, the Barbagi, do you remember it ☺ We used to annoy our families with it after the daily harvest...

Good days are gone and won't come back
