Growing apples from seeds

 Growing apples from seeds

Collect 5-10 ripe apples, preferably from 2-3 different varieties. Cut the apple in the middle and collect the seeds.

First allow the seeds to dry and then carefully cover every 2-3 seeds in a damp towel. Place the damp towels in A plastic bag sealed properly.

Then put the bag in the refrigerator for 60-80 days, checking constantly if the towel is damp and for any buds to grow every 20 days.

After 60-80 days of placing the bag in the refrigerator, carefully open the bag and We select only the seeds that have germinated a sprout, then we plant them in individual small pots that contain a special soil mix (soil with river sand and compost).

Then, we put the pots at a suitable temperature, close to a wide window, so that the sun's rays reach the seedlings, The most important thing from now on is to keep the pots moist but not waterlogged.

When the seedlings reach a height of 50 cm, we choose 2-3 of them more vigorous and plant them in a sunny part of the outdoor patio
