The Liverpool legend comments on Salah's move to Saudi Arabia.
Carragher believes that Mohamed Salah will not leave Liverpool
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher commented on reports linking the team's star, Mohamed Salah, with the move to the Saudi League.
And several media outlets confirmed that the 31-year-old Egyptian star was close to agreeing to play in the Jeddah Union shirt, in a deal estimated at 100 million pounds.
Carragher suggested, in the analytical studio for the Newcastle United and Liverpool match in the Premier League, on Sunday, that Salah “will not leave Liverpool.”
The star of the team's defense and the retired England national team said: "I think Salah will not go, because it is late in the transfer market," which closes its doors within days.
Carragher explained: “I do not see that Salah is like (Cristiano) Ronaldo (who moved to the Saudi victory). He has 3 or 4 years to give.
I think he can score a lot of goals, win trophies and break records."
He said that Salah "may go to the American or Saudi League in the future."
When asked about the fair value of selling Salah at the present time, he said:
I think he deserves to be sold for £150m. He should not be sold for £100m."
