 Providing a suitable tourist environment to accommodate Qatar’s guests from all over the world, not only on these occasions, but throughout the year.



 Qatar has attracted and continues to attract huge numbers of visitors as it is an important center for global events affecting the future of the world in many fields.




The Doha 2023 Horticultural Expo carries the slogan: (Green desert... a better environment) to achieve new gains for the environment in the world through: four axes:



Modern agriculture:

 by combining agricultural traditions with modern technology through the balanced use of resources.



Technology and innovation: the main drivers in developing solutions to achieve a balance between enhancing agricultural productivity and environmental sustainability.



Raising global awareness: to promote long-term change in attitudes and behaviors towards the environment worldwide.




Sustainability:     by maintaining a modern lifestyle compatible with biodiversity and environmental balance.



In addition to what the exhibition means of encouraging innovation and supporting efforts to develop gardening mechanisms in accordance with the gains offered by technology in this field, it is also an opportunity to address environmental problems, including desertification and climate change, which negatively affect agriculture, and also hinder efforts to provide food security in the world, and limit Solutions to environmental problems, through individual or collective initiatives and innovations aimed at addressing environmental problems related to the security and safety of the international community that is striving to get rid of these problems.




 The exhibition constitutes a great platform for presenting successful experiments in the field of horticulture, as they can be greatly benefited from, especially in desert countries that continue to suffer from water scarcity, the depletion of the natural resources of this water, and the fires that forests are exposed to, which reduce the size of the green area on this planet.




 In order to highlight, support and sustain new, balanced ways of life, the Doha 2023 Horticulture Exhibition brings countless gains to the world, embodying the solutions that international efforts can provide to many environmental issues and the problems of global warming due to the direct relationship between them and horticulture, given that agriculture is a major source of food in the world. .





 The opening of this exhibition in Qatar does not mean that it is concerned with horticulture only in Qatar, or in the Middle East region only.
